Congratulations to Mario Armstrong winner of the 2011 Emmy for Best TV Show host for his MPT Special on PBS, You Can Afford College.

Armstrong is the creator of Dream, Create, Go! which focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, STEM, Education for students, parents and teachers. Last year, over 1,000 attendees participated in the STEM  events at MODSIM World Conference.  Armstrong heavlily supported and participated in these events resulting in hundreds of students getting excited about STEM Education. 

This year, MODSIM is looking to double it's numbers for STEM Events and specifically Armstrong's inspiring Dream, Create, Go! presentation.

Sixth Annual M&S Capitol Hill Expo

On Thursday, June 23rd, Capitol Hill hosted the Sixth Annual M&S Expo. Initiated my Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04), Chairman of the Congressional Modeling & Simulation (M&S) caucus, the event is designed to bring together exhibitors, industry professionals and law makers for the advancement of America's latest virtual commodity.

Sponsored by the National Training and Simulation Association, also the MODSIM World Conference Defense, Homeland Security and First Responders Track Sponsor, this event highlighted ways in which M&S technology relates to natural disasters, homeland security, incident command response and much more. Additional Virginia  attendees included Congressman Robert C. "Bobby" Scott (D-VA-3).
